We are committed to protecting you and your data. Mode is prepared to meet the requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). The CCPA effective Jan 1, 2020, is a landmark data privacy law which provides enhanced data privacy rights to CA residents and sets new requirements for any organization that handles consumer personal data.
Mode has made efforts to fully comply with CCPA. Below are the steps we have taken for CCPA readiness.
Mode's DPA is available to all organizations using Mode. The DPA certifies that Mode will process all personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, including CCPA requirements. The DPA can be found at http://www.mode.com/dpa
Mode is committed to honor its obligations to always safeguard the data that it processes for its customers. In this regard, Mode views itself as a Service Provider under the CCPA. We do not use customer data for any other purpose than required for providing the services. Our updated DPA reflects this commitment to all of our customers.
Mode remains committed to protection of our customer data any time its shared with any sub-service provider. We have contractual commitments in place to ensure that the data is used only for the purposes of providing the services to our customers, and we remain accountable for actions of our sub-service providers.
It is our utmost priority to keep our customers' sensitive data and information safe. Mode adheres to industry-leading standards to manage our network, secure our application, and set policies across our organization.
